After two years of writing, and a lot of procrastination, my first official fantasy book, Kingmaker, will be available in the coming week or so. Although this is technically my second self-published book, I think of it as my first using my creativity instead of an autobiography.
For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been pushing myself to get as much writing done on my next book as possible. The best part is that I don’t feel like it’s rushed. I’ve taken my time to draft the story I want to tell and found myself in one of the best grooves I’ve ever had.
This month hasn’t been too bad in terms of productivity. Unfortunately, most of the things I worked on this month didn’t have writing involved. So, the word count was kind of low. But, it was one of my more productive months in terms of time.
I can’t even blame procrastination this time around. I am simply an extremely busy individual. But everything I’ve done recently will only benefit my career down the line. Still, is it possible to finish writing 40,263 words in just over a week and a half?
Currently, I am in the middle of writing my next book. I started it back when I joined NaNoWriMo, but haven’t had a chance to really dive into it this year. Until today, that is. Can I still publish Kingmaker on Amazon and Barnes & Noble by May 1st?
