I recently ran an experiment of writing on CrossingColorado.com for 30 days. The idea was to see how much of a difference it makes blogging every day for a website that has been around for a while. Today, I’ll share the results and talk about where I’ll go from here.
So, I didn’t meet my goals last month for writing a certain number of words. But, it wasn’t because I was lazy or forgetful. No, this time around, I had a lot of other stuff that needed to be done. Now that some of that stuff is out of the way, I’m doing another experiment for blogging.
For the longest time, I’ve wanted to fix CrossingColorado.com and get it to where it used to be in terms of traffic. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to put a lot of work in on the site this year. But, that’s mostly because of the way I create content.
I recently ran a small poll on the WriterSanctuary YouTube channel as a bit of a joke. I asked viewers if I should become a fitness influencer. Feeling a bit hyper, I was working on how I can fix CrossingColorado.com, my health and fitness blog. The results kind of gave me an idea.
I finally had some time to take a look at CrossingColorado.com, the site I want to revamp and restructure. To be honest, it’s not all that bad in terms of performance. In fact, it is faster than a couple of my other sites. So, that just leaves the content.
One of the things I want to do in 2021 is to revive CrossingColorado.com. I have my work cut out for me as it’s been torpedoed by Google and abandoned by me. And it makes me feel bad, honestly. However, I started with a few adjustments and planning.
