I create a new label for each year as a way to motivate myself to accomplish some goals. For instance, 2024 was The Year of the Book Part 2, whereas the ultimate goal was to publish more books. I’m labeling 2025 as The Year of Time.

I didn’t come anywhere near some of my writing goals for The Year of the Book Part 2. I simply had a lot going on and didn’t put as much time into my goals as I would have liked. Still, I did manage to accomplish some great things as a creator and author.

I know I’ve threatened this many times before, but I think I’m in a place where I can actually put in the time to fix CrossingColorado.com and get some of its traffic back. It’s been a long time coming.

Every year, I work to write more words than I did in the previous. Every year for the past five, I’ve been able to do so. This year, on the other hand, may prove to be quite difficult. It’s been a rough one, but I still have a shot at hitting my writing goal.

It’s July 2nd, marking the midway point of the year. Today, let’s take stock of what we have accomplished and the plans for what is to come. Keep in mind that even the smallest of victories is still a victory.

In terms of goals for this creator, June kinda blew up in my face. The positive, though, is that Grandpa is doing better and moving about on his own. So, things can kind of go back to normalcy.

I was on track to have an amazing June, in terms of being productive. Unfortunately, I have to put everything on pause for a few days so I can sort out some things here at the house.
