Starting October 1st, 2023, Sam and I are going to see what happens if we try uploading videos for 30 days to Crossing Colorado’s YouTube channel. It’s not merely to see if we can get closer to monetizing the content, though.
After two years of writing, and a lot of procrastination, my first official fantasy book, Kingmaker, will be available in the coming week or so. Although this is technically my second self-published book, I think of it as my first using my creativity instead of an autobiography.
Although I didn’t get as much done this month as I would have liked, I’m still moving with forward momentum. Just because it has slowed to a crawl doesn’t mean that it’s still not moving forward. I haven’t stopped nor have I gone backward. So, that’s a win.
I thought it would be fun to create a timeline for the second book of my series, Fury. Although I am currently working on polishing up the final draft and waiting on the cover art for Kingmaker, I am focused on publishing in a timely manner.
This week, I started setting up the second book in my series, Fury. I know, I haven’t published the first book yet, but it’s about ready to come out within the next month or so. Might as well get working on the rest of them while I wait.
I often find myself obsessing about certain things or situations. For example, if something is wrong with my computer or my daughter’s car, I’ll obsess about it into the wee morning hours. It’s not always a bad thing, though.
Well, my goals for April didn’t exactly pan out as I hoped they would. Mostly, it was because I had a few major issues to clean up for various clients. Needless to say, I didn’t get a lot of “me” time for the first couple of weeks.
